起初　神创造天地。（创1：1）
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1: 1)


神说，地要发生青草，和结种子的菜蔬，并结果子的树木，各从其类，果子都包着核。事就这样成了。Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so.（创Genesis1：11）


于是地发生了青草，和结种子的菜蔬，各从其类，并结果子的树木，各从其类，果子都包着核。　神看着是好的。The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.（创Genesis1：12）


根据<圣经>的记载，上帝在创造天地的整个大计划中的第三日创造了青草、蔬菜和树木。这当然也包括了红树（马来文称Pokok Bakau)。


到底红树林是怎样的呢？我三天前就和太太参观了霹雳州的红土坎(Lumut)的红树林公园(Taman Paya Bakau)。


这红树林公园不只有绿油油的红树，还有很多的猴子呢！喜欢红树林的你不妨到此一游，就是不喜欢树木，也可以来看看猴子，不用付入门票！
